Alternatives

Offline alternatives
to online file converters.

Most converters you find in a search work by upload: your file goes to a server, is converted there, and comes back. Filemorph does the same jobs on your iPhone, iPad or Mac with nothing uploaded. These pages compare the two approaches, tool by tool, and say plainly where the other product is the better pick.

How we compare

Every fact about another product on these pages comes from that product's own website or App Store listing, checked on 29 August 2026. Where a company's pages disagree with each other, we say so and give both figures. Where a fact is not stated, we say that rather than guess. Each page also has a section on when the other tool is the better choice, because sometimes it is: a browser works on any OS, a server can take a 4 GB batch, and some formats are out of reach for an on-device app.

Product names belong to their owners. Filemorph is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the companies named here. For the reasoning behind processing location, read On-device vs cloud conversion: why privacy matters.
