Filemorph is a native app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that converts, edits and compresses files without uploading them. It is developed by Sygnoos LLC and was released on the App Store in 2026.
Most file converters are websites: you upload a file, wait, and download the result — which means the file passed through someone else's server first. For a random JPEG that might not matter much. For a passport scan, a signed contract, a bank statement or a family photo, it does. Filemorph works differently: every conversion, edit and compression runs in a process on your device, using Apple's own frameworks — Core Image, AVFoundation, PDFKit, Vision and Core ML — so the file itself never leaves the device.
You do not have to take our word for it. Turn on Airplane Mode and every conversion in the app still works, because none of them ever needed a network connection. The one exception is optional: downloading an AI enhancement model the first time you use it. That download is model weights, not your files, and it is the only network call Filemorph makes on its own. Here is every network call the app can make.
Filemorph is a general-purpose file converter and editor: 300+ operations across 80+ input formats, spanning images, PDF, video, audio, documents, archives, fonts, subtitles and CAD. It includes an on-device AI photo lab (upscaling, face restoration, old-photo repair, colorization) that runs on the Neural Engine, 15 Shortcuts actions for automation, batch processing, and reusable conversion presets. See the full list of features, the format encyclopedia, or the Shortcuts gallery.

Filemorph (one word, filemorph.app, App Store id6761300676) is unrelated to other software named "FileMorph": a Windows/Mac batch file-renaming utility, several open-source web converters on GitHub and Netlify, and an iOS image-converter app called "Pixel FileMorph". If you were looking for one of those, this is not it. If you want a converter that never uploads your files, you are in the right place.
